I am out of practice.
I broke my cardinal rule about sharing our plans. Plans change.
So no more telling you about what we are going to do, until after we do
it.
What we perceived as a window in the weather was more like a
door peephole. Not enough time for seas
to settle. We cannot join up with Barb
and Barry in Stuart because there is no mooring available near them. Alas, we are still at our mooring in Vero
Beach and just paid through Friday night.
Good thing we like it here!
Preparing to set sail is like many events in our lives, we
prepare physically, emotionally and spiritually. Then when the event is cancelled, we have to
deal with the let down in all three aspects.
Today we read and caught up on sleep.
I am reading Franklin Sanders ‘At Home in Dogwood Mudhole’ and the
timing was impeccable. He quotes John
Calvin “Ignorance of the providence of God is the cause of all impatience.” We know we would not be alive or be here
without God’s providence. It is time to
be patient and remember “The mind of man plans his way, but the LORD directs
his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 (NASB)
Love to all,
Dena
