She Floats!

It is great to be back in the water again. We splashed on Tuesday, finished a few things up and said our goodbyes in Deltaville last night and today.  We waited until after 10 am to cast off so we could time the tide down here. I am glad we waited as the winds and seas continued to get better as the day progressed.  We started with three foot seas at a very short interval and barely had one foot when we got to our turn into the anchorage.

We are thankful that hurricane 'Joaquin' took an easterly course, but we are saddened at all the destruction incurred at Long Island in the Bahamas, and the surrounding islands.  Please keep those folks, and the folks helping out, in your prayers.

Dinner is nearly ready.  Back in the groove!

Love to all,
Dena
